Japanese teacher Eborntes (Ebony) Nagura finds himself in Izumo City and is told that he has a rare disease that causes amnesia and that he needs to be monitored. Later on, he meets Arthur Mondkreuz, his first student who also happened to be the same age with the same disease. The two set out on a journey together to find out the truth behind their amnesia, but the Gods (Ascended) of the world are dead set on not letting Ebony and Arthur find out anything about their past. Let alone be in each other’s presence. So the duo end up fighting the Gods for the truth that the world is keeping from them.
